STOROPACK IS VERY PROUD TO HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN THE QUEEN'S GREEN CANOPY INITIATIVE
The Queen’s Green Canopy (QGQ) is a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 which invites people from across the UK to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee” in honour of the Queen’s 70 years of service.
As well as inviting the planting of new trees, the Queen’s Green Canopy will dedicate a network of 70 ancient woodlands across the UK and identify 70 ancient trees.
With a focus on planting sustainably, everyone is encouraged to play their part to enhance the environment and plant trees during the official season between October and April.
Storopack is very proud to have been involved in this initiative. In April 2022 the UK team planted several Silver Birch and Holly trees in the grounds at the Storopack Sheffield head office site and they look forward to seeing these trees thrive in future years.
In May 2022 Storopack received the official Queen’s Green Canopy virtual plaque showing the location of Storopack's tree planting on the (QGC) map.
